Personal Power Is All About Being Aware
There are two parts to the mind, the conscious mind, and the unconscious mind. The conscious mind is what we think about whenever we are aware. However, we also have the unconscious mind, which is where 90% of our thoughts live, and are played back to us like a tape.
Think about something simple you do, like cleaning the house or taking a shower. You know exactly what to do whenever you do those basic things because you’ve done them enough times to where they become automatic. The subconscious mind holds our routines, our daily habits, and our internal belief systems. We spend more time on autopilot than we think, and it’s often because we don’t let our conscious mind take control.
One of the best ways to tap into our personal power is to be more aware of our thoughts and actions. We can’t be 100% aware all the time, but whenever we find ourselves repeating an action, we can look at that action and try to understand why we are doing it.
Meditation is often the best way for our brains to do this, as it allows us to sit still and engage our subconscious mind, and then we can become the master of a situation rather than be swept away in the current of the way we’ve always done things.
Looking At Personal Power (Strength)
What do you do whenever you need to make a hard choice? Do you dawdle at the starting line, thinking about all the other hard choices you previously made without results? Do you experience an emotion like guilt, anger, or frustration over all the choices that failed you in the past? That’s your subconscious mind dredging up past events.
To handle hard choices using your strength, make the conscious choice to ask yourself one question: Will this choice help me achieve my goals?
If yes, then take steps to take it. Tap into your strength and get started with making the right call and see what that choice can do for you. Personal power allows you to dive headfirst into something and then see what can be done.

Gaining A New Perspective
One of the best benefits of getting tapped into your strength is the new perspective that it gives to your life. You can look at things that you once did automatically or things that were once done because you were afraid, with a brand new lease on life. That power will flow out and touch all other areas of your life, and then you can get started with using your personal power to advance your life and the lives of others.

Angel, I love your writing! How wonderful you’re getting some of your pieces out here in January! On decision-making, my well within is tapped into the Divine Field, so I ask God if my human thinking is on track as to the best decision. I’m Higher Powered! 🙂
